Our friendly senior horse Tigger will likely stop by to make you feel welcome. In the evening, you may be treated to the song of the coyote at dusk and a sky full of stars.

In addition to touring the canyon or walking the vast prairie on the property, you may enjoy mountain biking, hiking and climbing at varying degrees of challenge. The property shares a fence line (which affords foot access) to hiking the south side of the Scotts Bluff National Monument, a series of bluffs significant to the settlers on the Oregon Trail. This wide open landscape is also the perfect place to fly a kite.

You are welcome to use as much of our delicious water from the underground aquifer as you like.  RV sites feature 50 amp hook ups (30 amp will need a conversion cord) and shared hose access to the water (there are no dedicated water hook ups). A well-maintained and easily accessed portable potty is conveniently on site. Tabletop propane cook stoves are welcome on the prairie but campfires are only allowed if conditions are safe, and only in fire pits provided.  There is no smoking of cigarettes or pipes on the prairie at any time of the year, and fireworks are forbidden.

Depending on when you're here, you'll see wildflowers, chokecherries, sagebrush, yucca, cactus, wild catnip, and a wide array of native prairie grasses and plants. The delightful burrowing owl sometimes chooses our prairie for its nesting grounds. Big Horn Sheep can make a rare appearance. More commonly heard but not seen are the coyotes, and the Great Horned Owl.  Mule deer are plentiful and often easily spotted.
